Thomas Jacob

Thomas Jacob was a terrific quizzer during his school and college days in Kerala. As a student at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Calicut, he was a regular at quizzes in Calicut and comfortably swept away the opposition, including college students years ahead of him in experience. A very systematic quizzer, he was a sort of mentor/inspiration for a small band of calicut quizzers like abid, vijaykrishnan, ravi, manjith etc. Thanks to his generous sharing of his diaries and info-seeking methods, school quizzers in Calicut had a good system to model on!
He was in and out of quizzing, thanks to his diverse interests, but made strong comebacks everytime he took a break!
At TKM College, Kollam, he was a strong presence in the south kerala circuit and also a good organiser. He has conducted several long running quiz series(like Queriest) on quizzing groups. Currently in Bangalore, finding his way through the tough competition over there. He is also a regular reviewer of quizzes in Bangalore on his blog.
