have been eying this page for weeks now, wondering whether i should fill it up. anyway, here's my draft for the Roshith Mohan Profile:
since partnering roshith at school, i've gone thru my share of random partners at all sorts of college quizzes. and it's never been as much as fun as the crap quizzes we used to hit at school :the last few (three? four?) years of school, roshith and i spent most mornings searching thru the engagements page on the mathrubhoomi, hunting for quizzes.
what makes roshith a really good partner to have is that he's pretty much a thinking quizzer. no one i know can work out a question as well as he can, from the information available. and so when the question is a little lateral, he and i would piece it together from what bits of info we had, to put it in context and literally make the answer up.
he's also the one who taught me all the quizzing strategy i know: left to myself i'd never have figured out why/how infinite bounce works better than std format, or a million other things about scoring.
anyway. roshith mohan (hometown palakkad, he claims) spent 12 years on the calicut quizzing circuit, starting at school (maggi quiz in fifth standard.. :-)...) in that time, he has been a second round entrant on the second season of uc, on tv for milka wonder quiz (and more recently for a ?kairali quiz as well).
