Quizzes on November 18th- Results

Results of the IVth edition of the Anoop Adithian Memorial Open Quiz Competition held on 18th November, 2012 at GEC Thrissur.

QMs: Major Chandrakant Nair and Arun AS

Standings:

Winners: Hrishi Varma and Jithin Jacob (190 points)

2nd: Anil Raghavan and Rithwik (150 points)
3rd: (tie between) Justin-Leo Francis and Ashwin Kumar-Abdul Raouf (140 points)
5th: Rahul Girish Kumar and Sarin P (75 points)
6th: Vijaynath V and Shibin Azad (45 points)

Rahul Girish Kumar and Sarin topped the prelims with 15.5 points. The cutoff was 10 points.

The prizes were sponsored by Federal Bank.

Greycells would also like to thank the quizmasters for a wonderful quiz and GEC Thrissur for kindly providing the venue.

The Vaidyarthnam Group - Greycells Open, July 21


Greycells, in association with the Vaidyarathnam Group, conducted its third Open Quiz on July 21, at Jyothi Engineering College, Cheruthuruthy.
Praveen VR (formerly, NITC) and Sarin P (Govt. Medical College, Calicut) were the quiz masters. The quiz was possible because of some generous sponsorship from the Vaidyarathnam group. Hrishi Varma, Arun A S and Vijayanath deserve special praise for their efforts in getting the quiz organised. Thanks are also due to Anil Raghavan and K.M. Haneesh for their efforts,
Narasimha Rao, Saneesh , Shyam, Manoj and Sanoj for their "muscle works", Jeffy for his car and Nithin who lent his muscles and his bike for the day, Hrishi's family for putting up with all this activity, and Dr. Neelakantan Moos for arranging the sponsorship !
